There, Dr. Suko treats complex cardiovascular cases, including coronary, peripheral vascular, and aortic interventions, and takes part in clinical service, education, and the development of interventional cardiology. Dr. Suko now also practices at Heartology Cardiovascular Hospital.

Dr. Suko Adiarto, Sp.JP(K), Ph.D., is a cardiologist at Heartology Cardiovascular Hospital, Jakarta, with a subspecialty in interventional cardiology and vascular medicine. Dr. Suko completed medical school at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, in 1997, then cardiology residency in the Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine at the same university, and earned a Ph.D. from the Division of Cardiovascular and Respiratory Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine, Japan.
To build further competence, Dr. Suko completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at the National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita, Jakarta, and courses in peripheral vascular and aortic intervention at Busan National University Hospital, South Korea. Further training includes a short course on peripheral artery disease in Singapore, an advanced aortic disease course in Thailand, and aortic intervention courses in Thailand and China, after which Dr. Suko became a consultant in vascular medicine.
Dr. Suko is currently a medical staff member in the Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, and the National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita. Dr. Suko's academic interest is vascular disease, with publications in international journals such as Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, International Journal of Angiology, and Life Sciences, some of which address innovations in aortic intervention. Dr. Suko is a member of the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI), the Indonesian Heart Association (PERKI), the Indonesian Society of Interventional Cardiology (PIKI), and the International College of Angiology (ICA), and holds the titles FIHA, FICA, and FAsCC.
