Is This Package Right for You?

Who This Package Is For

All Hearts All Care is a basic heart screening package for adults. It suits you if you want to check your heart for the first time, or if you have risk factors such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, smoking, or a family history of heart disease. Coronary artery disease often develops slowly without symptoms, so regular checkups help you and your doctor see how your heart is doing earlier.

What Is Checked

  • Blood tests look at risk factors: LDL cholesterol (often called bad cholesterol, which can build up in artery walls), fasting blood sugar and HbA1c (your average blood sugar over about the past three months), kidney function, and uric acid.
  • The treadmill test records your heart's electrical activity (ECG) and blood pressure while you walk on a treadmill whose speed and incline increase step by step. It shows how your heart works as the effort rises.
  • Coronary calcium scoring uses a CT scan without contrast dye to measure calcium deposits in the arteries that supply the heart (coronary arteries). These deposits are a marker of plaque.

Your Checkup Day

Arrive after fasting for 10 to 12 hours. After registration, a blood sample is taken, and then you have the treadmill test and the calcium scoring CT in the order arranged by our staff. The whole visit takes about 1 to 2 hours. Wear comfortable clothes and sports shoes for the treadmill test.

After Your Results Are Ready

Results are available within 2 to 3 working days. The package includes consultations with a general practitioner and a cardiologist. Your doctors explain your results, discuss your risk factors, and suggest next steps if needed, such as further tests or lifestyle changes. A checkup is a screening, not a diagnosis. If you have severe chest pain, severe shortness of breath, or fainting, go to the nearest emergency department right away.

  • You have risk factors such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, smoking, or a family history of heart disease
  • You want to know your LDL cholesterol, blood sugar, and kidney function while also seeing how your heart handles exercise
  • You want to monitor your heart health regularly
  • You have limited time, as the full series of tests takes about 1 to 2 hours

Understand What the Results Mean and Their Limits.

Results Need to Be Read in Context.

A health checkup helps identify risk factors and early findings. A good result does not guarantee the absence of disease, and some findings may need further tests.

A checkup package does not replace a doctor's assessment of symptoms. If you have severe or sudden symptoms, go to the nearest emergency department right away or call Heart Attack Center 1500 258, rather than waiting for a checkup appointment.

Educational basis: NHS, benefits and limits of screening. The right package is decided with a doctor.

Checkup coverage depends on your insurer's rules and your policy. Ask about the documents and approvals you need before the checkup.

Questions before You Book.

Here are answers to common questions about the All Hearts All Care package.

How should I prepare for the checkup?

Fast for 10 to 12 hours before your blood sample is taken; drinking plain water is fine. Bring a list of your regular medicines and mention them at registration. Do not stop any medicine without your doctor's advice, because diabetes medicines and some heart medicines may need adjusting while you fast or before the treadmill test. Wear comfortable clothes and sports shoes.

What happens on the day of the checkup?

After registration and a blood draw, you walk on a treadmill while our staff monitor your ECG and blood pressure. The speed and incline rise gradually, and the test stops if you feel unwell or the staff see changes that need attention. For calcium scoring, you lie still on the CT table for a few minutes, with no injection. CT uses X-rays, so tell the staff if you are or might be pregnant.

How is this package different from other Heartology checkup packages?

All Hearts All Care focuses on key risk factors, a treadmill test, and coronary calcium scoring in about 1 to 2 hours. Packages such as Cardiac Sportacular, Vascular Health & Wellness, and Cardiovascular Prime Screening add other tests, for example a heart ultrasound (echocardiography), a leg artery check (ABI), and a clinical nutrition consultation, and take longer. For children, there is the Children Wellness package. If you are unsure, ask when you register.

When are the results ready, and who explains them?

Results are ready within 2 to 3 working days. A general practitioner and a cardiologist explain them during the consultations included in the package, including what your cholesterol, blood sugar, calcium score, and treadmill results mean for your heart risk. Keep a copy of your results so they can be compared at your next checkup.

What if my results are abnormal or I already have symptoms?

An abnormal result does not always mean you have heart disease. Your doctor will explain what it means and, if needed, suggest further tests such as a heart ultrasound or coronary CT angiography, or changes to your lifestyle or medicines. This package is meant for screening. If you have severe chest pain, severe shortness of breath, or fainting, do not wait for a checkup appointment; go to the nearest emergency department right away.
