dr. Santi Rahayu Dewayanti, Sp.P, MM, FCCP

Dr. Santi Rahayu Dewayanti, Sp.P, has long practiced as a pulmonologist at the National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita, Jakarta, the national referral center for heart and blood vessel disease, and led the hospital's COVID-19 Medical Team during the pandemic. Dr. Santi now manages respiratory problems in patients with heart disease, preparation before heart surgery, and respiratory care after cardiovascular procedures at Heartology Cardiovascular Hospital.

Dr. Santi Rahayu Dewayanti, Sp.P, is a pulmonologist at Heartology Cardiovascular Hospital, Jakarta. Dr. Santi began medical school at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, in 1990 and completed the Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine Residency Program at the same faculty in 2006. Dr. Santi is also a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP).

Dr. Santi's clinical focus is respiratory problems in patients with heart and blood vessel disease, pulmonary hypertension, lung infections and pneumonia, and chronic lung diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Santi led the COVID-19 Medical Team at the National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita, Jakarta, which cared for critically ill patients, particularly those with respiratory infections.

In professional organizations, Dr. Santi serves on the board of the Indonesian Society of Respirology (PDPI) Jakarta Branch, is a member of the PDPI Pulmonary Circulation and Pulmonary Hypertension Working Group, serves on the central board of the Indonesian Asthma Foundation (YAI), is a member of the YAI Jakarta Branch, and serves on the board of Respiratory Care Indonesia (RESPINA).
