Dr. dr. Dicky Armein Hanafy, Sp.JP(K), completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at Herz- und Gefäß-Klinik, Bad Neustadt an der Saale, Germany, from 2003 to 2006. Since 2007 Dr. Dicky has practiced as a consultant in cardiac electrophysiology and interventional cardiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, and the National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita, Jakarta, while taking part in specialist medical education and the development of arrhythmia services in Indonesia.
With a focus on heart rhythm disorders, invasive electrophysiology procedures, and interventional cardiology, Dr. Dicky now practices at Heartology Cardiovascular Hospital.

Dr. Dicky graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, in 1995, then trained in internal medicine, cardiology, and angiology at Universitätsklinikum Münster, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität, Münster, Germany, including a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Dicky also holds a certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) in the United States.
From 2003 to 2006, Dr. Dicky completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at Herz- und Gefäß-Klinik, Bad Neustadt an der Saale, Germany. Dr. Dicky has also been a research fellow in the Division of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Research Center at Veterans General Hospital Taipei, Taiwan. In 2021 Dr. Dicky earned a Ph.D. in medicine from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia. Published work has appeared in journals including the European Journal of Pharmacology and the Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology.
Since 2007, Dr. Dicky has been a consultant in cardiac electrophysiology and interventional cardiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, and the National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita, Jakarta. Since 2023 Dr. Dicky has chaired the Subspecialty Study Program in the Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, and since 2024 has served as Director of Education, Research, and Human Resources at the National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita. Dr. Dicky also leads the Indonesian Heart Rhythm Society (InaHRS).
