dr. Widya Trianita Suwatri, Sp.BTKV, Subsp. JD(K) began clinical practice as an intern doctor at Ryacudu Hospital, North Lampung (2012 to 2013). After completing specialist training, Dr. Widya practiced as a thoracic, cardiac, and vascular surgeon at Fatmawati General Hospital, Jakarta (2020 to 2023), Murni Teguh Sudirman Hospital, Jakarta (2020 to 2022), and Siloam Hospitals Bogor (2023 to 2024).

Since 2024 Dr. Widya has practiced at Premier Bintaro Hospital and Sentra Medika Cibinong Hospital. Dr. Widya is also a member of the medical staff at the National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita, Jakarta, handling coronary bypass surgery, heart valve surgery, aortic surgery, and mechanical circulatory support for advanced heart failure. Dr. Widya now also practices at Heartology Cardiovascular Hospital.

dr. Widya Trianita Suwatri, Sp.BTKV, Subsp. JD(K), is a thoracic, cardiac, and vascular surgeon with a subspecialty in adult cardiac surgery at Heartology Cardiovascular Hospital, Jakarta. Dr. Widya completed medical school at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti (2011), the Thoracic, Cardiac, and Vascular Surgery Residency Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia (2019), and subspecialty training in adult cardiac surgery at the National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita, Jakarta (2021).

Dr. Widya's clinical practice covers coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), both with and without the heart-lung machine (off-pump), heart valve surgery such as aortic and mitral valve operations, aortic surgery, and minimally invasive cardiac surgery (MICS) through smaller incisions. Dr. Widya is also part of the team treating severe heart failure, with experience in left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implantation and circulatory support with ECMO, and was involved in the National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita team that performed an LVAD implantation in 2025.

In 2025 Dr. Widya completed the Southeast Asia Advanced Cardiovascular Surgery Fellowship Program in MICS and OPCAB at Lampang Hospital, Thailand, the 2nd Advanced Course of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery at Beijing Anzhen Hospital, training on the Kangduo robotic surgical system in Beijing, and the Surgical Training Course in Advanced Cardiovascular Surgery at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University, Shanghai. Dr. Widya co-authored a study comparing the outcomes of off-pump (OPCAB) and conventional (CCABG) coronary bypass surgery in high-risk patients at the National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita. Dr. Widya is a member of the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI), the Indonesian Surgeons Association (IKABI), and the Indonesian Association of Thoracic, Cardiac, and Vascular Surgeons (HBTKVI), and has held the FIATCVS title since 2023.
